When such a law is passed, it weakens us as a whole. It undermines law enforcement and puts unnecessary danger in the County. Warning: Westchester is now a “Sanctuary County,” meaning “minor crimes” committed by illegal immigrants, like assault, sexual misconduct, burglary, menacing and grand larceny will no longer be reported to federal immigration officials. The Westchester Hispanic Law Enforcement Assoc. has said the move will “place handcuffs on our law enforcement officers, not the criminals” and the previous Public Safety Commissioner called the moved a “bad and reckless idea.” But I guess liberal politicians know more about public safety than law enforcement professionals. Shameful. -
In lieu of protesting the further disintegration of your gun rights, I encourage all of you to come by today to just talk. Don’t have shoot if you don’t want to, don’t have to buy anything. Just come by the Gun Shop or the range and educate yourself on the “dark side” of the debate. I will be willing to talk with anyone who needs to understand the passion and need for the 2nd amendment, and what it’s like to own a firearm and the responsibility behind it. Knowledge is the key to making a good decision. What u know from reading Facebook or watching the news is not reality. So today if you are not marching against guns you are welcome to educate yourself on them. Open to all, Mount Vernon NY Mike, Anthony, Dee, John, and the Range Officers are happy to assist.
