Every visit was like taking a time machine back to the days of The Ed Sullivan Show, Greenwich Village Music Cafes, The Fillmore East or Woodstock. Though tragically gone way to soon, he was with us long enough to continually keep innovating, redefining and expanding the rock music genre since 1964. I was so blown away by the sheer artistry of his live performances, and so totally excited when my friend Robert Sabino got to play keyboards on the amazing "Let's Dance" album which Nile Rodgers produced...enjoying it all together with the great Bud Tunick.
