GREETINGS FRIENDS! As you all know by now, we are into our last week of operating The Briar Shoppe. This next Friday (30th) will be our last day open. But....we are going to have one more big blowout cigar night at Sam's Place on Wilson this Wednesday night the 28th! For all of you who have been some of our greatest supporters, we will be having special discounts that will be better than what we are running in the shop during our closure! We not only are grateful for your business, but for the wonderful relationships that we have enjoyed with each one of you! For all of us at the shop, the most difficult piece of the closure will be those of you that we may not see again. It is uncertain what the future may hold for cigar events at Sam's Place. Jim White and I are tossing around some possible ideas for something new! We will try to keep you informed! Hello Friends! Most of you have heard by now that The Briar Shoppe will be closing its doors at the end of June. But....we aren't done yet! Everything in the shop is now 30% off. But this Wednesday night (31st) at Sam's Place on Wilson, everything we bring will be 40% off!! We have a boat load of inventory to move, so we are bringing it to Sam's so all of our cigar night friends can get the best deals possible! This is a difficult time for us, as it is so very hard to say good-by to so many loyal customers and friends. Please come and hang out for awhile this Wednesday! Greetings from The Briar Shoppe! O.K.....so here it is late April, and the weather still feels like we are in mid Winter. So what can you do about it? Not one darn thing! Like I always told my children when they were young, "You make your own fun!" So, this Wednesday night (26th) at Sam's Place on Wilson, is cigar night with Steve martin from Altadis. No, he won't be bringing his banjo or doing stand- up comedy, not that "Steve Martin". He will however, be bringing his vast knowledge of premium cigars to share with us, and we at the shoppe will be bringing a variety of smokes! So let's all stop whining about the weather, and go "make our own fun!" I'm pretty sure Jim White will have something yummy in the Smoker, and rain or shine, it is always an enjoyable evening out on the cabana at Sam's Place on Wilson! Greetings from THE BRIAR SHOPPE! I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving! As you finish up the leftovers, mark your calendar for this Wednesday night (30th) for our last cigar night of 2016 at Sam's Place on Wilson. December is a very busy time for us all and a cigar event just doesn't fit into the rush of the Holidays. But...we will be back in January of 2017 at Sam's with a new line up of premium cigars and a whole lotta fun! This week, Steve Martin from Altadis will be with us with several name brands of smokes and maybe a couple you have never tried! We will be raffling some goodies and you just might walk away with free stogies! The weather has gotten a little cooler but, Jim White ( owner of Sam's) has some very toasty heaters out under the cabana. The people there are warm and friendly as well! HEY FUENTE LOVER'S!!! So you think Opus X is the best Fuente there is??? Then I say you have never had an Anejo! They have become harder to obtain than the Opus! Guess what.... We have them! I get a shipment once a year, and when they are gone...they are gone till next November! Many of my customers have been anticipating their arrival, so If you want one or two or three, better get into the shop sooner than later. You will NOT be disappointed!
