OHVTA members and vaping community: We know many of you have heard of the situation going on in Fairfield County with the County Prosecutor sending cease and desist letters to businesses selling CBD oil. We are also aware of the county/local authorities seizing CBD oil from some stores. OHVTA leadership and our lobbyist are meeting with an attorney who specializes in CBD products tomorrow to discuss the situation and to form a game plan. While we know many of you are looking for advice, we are not comfortable, nor should we, give you legal advice before we discuss with an attorney. What we will say is be smart, do what you feel is best for your business, follow direction of any law enforcement if they visit your store and contact us should something happen.
